I was tasked with creating an animation for an online training course for newly hired administrators at Iowa State University. The client provided me with a script about how to give effective feedback in the workplace and complete visual creative freedom. My goal was to make the animation more playful in order to balance out the somewhat mundane subject, so I decided to tell the story with "worker bees."
This video is currently being used in a training course taken by newly hired administrators at Iowa State University.
Before I began animating in Cinema 4D I created a story board and rough draft in order to time out the video. This helped give the client a better idea of my concept and I was able to make revisions to the storyboard before I began the animation process.
